iPhone XI renders leak again

iPhone XI renders leak again, show smaller notch, slimmer bezels, triple rear cameras

Apple reportedly plans to launch three iPhones in 2019 as well. It is still time for Apple to launch the 2019 iPhones, possible launch timeline could be September.

HIGHLIGHTS

    iPhone XI
  • The 5K renders reveal the iPhone XI from almost all sides.
  • iPhone XI will come with much slimmer bezels on the sides when compared to the last year's iPhones.
  • The renders show the three cameras sit next to each other paired with a circle flash.
iPhone XI has leaked in renders yet again, but this time with a whole new design. And given how different it is compared to earlier design, now we aren't sure if this is the one shows how the iPhone XI is going to look like or if the earlier one is correct. The new render, leaked again by the same person that had leaked the earlier possible design of the iPhone XI, shows the iPhone XI with three cameras, and a ring shaped flash designed around the main camera. It is definitely a more elegant design compared to what was leaked earlier.
In the first week of January the first ever picture of the alleged iPhone XI -- which could be one of the three iPhones launching in 2019 -- leaked and it suggested that the upcoming iPhone will sport three cameras on the rear panel. The picture showed that the three cameras will be placed inside a square on the top left corner of the back cover. The newly leaked 5K renders tell a different story about the iPhone XI design.
The renders reveal the iPhone XI from almost all sides. From the front the renders, leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter in partnership with Compare Raja website, show the iPhone XI with a much smaller notch when compared to the previous generation iPhones aka iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. With the reduction of the notch space, it is likely that the next generation iPhone or iPhone XI will come with much slimmer bezels on the sides when compared to the last year's iPhones.
Besides the smaller notch and thinner bezels, the renders reveal that the upcoming iPhone could use more or less the same design that we see in the current iPhone XS. As of now, there's no clarity on whether or not Apple will finally bring two cameras on the front, but what seems to be sure, if the renders are accurate, is that the upcoming iPhone or iPhone XI will come with three cameras on the back panel.
Compared to the alleged images of the iPhone XI that leaked earlier, the new ones definitely show the phone in the better light. If this is indeed the design of the iPhone XI it will look fairly slick and stunning. This is in contrast to the earlier image which made the iPhone XI look hideous.
Below the triple camera setup Apple will include the brand logo. The renders show that the left side of the iPhone XI will have the volume rocker while on the right there's the power button.
So, which design is more authentic? Well, it is still too early to conclude the final design of the new iPhone as the phones are still in Engineering Validation Test stage. This may mean that Apple is trying out different designs right now and nothing is fixed yet. It could be possible that Apple might opt for both the leaked designs and launch them as two different models or simply ditch one and go forward with the other one, or Apple could try out something new.
Apple reportedly plans to launch three iPhones in 2019 as well. To recall, in both 2017 and in 2018 Apple announced three iPhones instead of two like the previous years. It is still time for Apple to launch the 2019 iPhones, possible launch timeline could be September. Apple launched the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR in September 2018.
